Flapjacks

Ingredients

Butter - 150g
Light brown sugar - 75g
Golden Syrup - 2 tbsp
Oatmeal - 250g

Method

Preheat the oven to 180C.
Grease the bottom of 20cm square tin then line it with baking paper.
Put the butter, sugar and golden syrup into a medium pan and then leave so that the butter melts, stirring regularly.
Once the butter is melted, pour in the oats.
Turn it all into the tin and make sure to spread it out evenly.
Bake for 25mins.
Remove from the oven and leave to cool for 2-3 minutes in the tray.
Cut the flapjacks so you have four lines down and three lines across, giving you lovely rectangle flapjacks.
