Young Social Innovators Awards



The Young Social Innovators Awards took place, at the Convention Centre in Dublin. The awards are all about encouraging young people to re-imagine the world, and empowering them to bring their vision to life.

Students from Largy College in County Monaghan were named the overall winners.

750 students gathered here today at the Convention Centre in Dublin for the Young Social Innovators Awards. 11 teams were shortlisted for the 2017 title of – Young Social Innovator of the Year.

The Young Social Innovators programme is now in its 16th year and supports young people to develop skills needed for life in the 21st century.

Events like this, give young people the chance to speak out about issues of concern to them and celebrate the changes young people are making right around the country.
