“I think the government should use the tax money on homes for the homeless, charities, and better hospitals. Lots of living things feel like they’re not living at all, so instead of using the money on people that have it, how about spending it on people (or animals) that don’t?.” Mia B, Mr. Dunne’s Third Class, St. Anne’s.
“I think the government should stop faffing about and put the tax money towards the DSPCA, the ISPCA, other charities and, also, foster homes.” Matilda, Mr. Dunne’s Third Class, St. Anne’s.

I think the government should spend money on health and safety because that is one of the most important things in life. Adam 12
I think the government should spend money on the homeless because, I think that it is not fair that family’s should have to always stay the night in a B&B or hotel. I think that no matter who you are, everyone deserves to have a ‘Home sweet home’. Isabel
I think the government should spend money on nurses, doctors and hospitals because my mom is a nurse and she has been getting nearly double the amount of patients as she use to,most days she comes home late and starving as she doesn’t have time to eat lunch. This means that other nurses and doctors are too so the government should try to put more money in to hospitals.I would also recommend to put the vat up on cigarettes so less people will need a bed in hospitals. Tomás Condon
I think the government should spend more money on the facilities in hospitals all around Ireland because there are to many people waiting for assistance in hospitals and there are not enough beds to supply the amount of patients coming in each day. Conor

I think the government should spend money on homelessness because so many families are staying in hotels and B&B’s, including children. Also, a lot of people are living on the streets and have to sit there all day and night, cold, hungry scared. The government should start taking a bit more notice of this, because it is a huge crisis at the moment. Carla, Aged 11
I think that the government should spend more money on education as if people have good jobs they pay for houses if they have a job they might want to become doctors as this helps patients and could save lives. Gail Killeen
I think the government should spend money on the hospital crisis because at the moment richer people get better health care than poorer people and that is not fair. Lola 12, Scartleigh NS
I think the government should spend more money on hospitals and education because first of all
the nurses in the hospitals have to much patients to take care of and It is not fair on the nurses or the patients and second of all the teachers have to
much students to teach and the teachers can not
give all the students as much attention as they
I believe the government should spend more money on education because the better the education the more likely for you to stay out of trouble.

I think that the government should spend more money on homeless people ,that way they will have, food, money, a house, a job, a car, they would live a normal life playing with their friends instead of playing nothing out on the street begging for money.

I think the government should spent their budget on schools for higher education and better equipment for children. That way, they can enjoy the place where they will spent most of their week and make it a safer more happy place for children all around Ireland.
